Swasthavrittaand yoga is the branch that looks into the promotion of health with healthy lifestyle.
Post-graduation started in the year 2001. Dinacharya (daily regimen),rutucharya (seasonal regimen), Sadvrutta and achararasayana(moral codes of conduct) advocated in Ayurveda are the four pillars of health. The department creates awareness about Ayurveda among the masses regarding life style disorders. The unit of yoga is established for the maintenance of health and therapeutic purposes. 25 beds in the hospital are dedicated for the preventive and curative health through swasthavritta and yogic practice. A special pathya (dietetics) unit is established to cater to the needs of the health seekers based on Ayurveda nutritive principles.
